Our Funders
Flourish Impact Fund – June 2026
With an investment from the Flourish Impact Fund, the Policy Center is proud to be developing a Community of Learning to integrate Maternal Mental Health into outpatient Maternity Care, in collaboration with the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health Technical Assistance Center. The Community of Learning will empower entities participating in the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM), including state hospital associations, state health departments, or state perinatal quality collaboratives, with the tools and knowledge to develop their maternal mental health quality improvement programs. Participants in the learning community will receive monthly training on HEDIS outpatient measures, payment levers, and the unbundling of maternity care payment this year, and develop partnerships with health plan/managed care organization (MCO) partners. The Policy Center thanks Flourish for recognizing and supporting this time-critical opportunity as unbundling prepares to reshape the field.
Esther A. & Joseph Klingenstein Fund- June 2026
The Policy Center received a two-year organizational general operating grant from the Esther A. & Joseph Klingenstein Fund. This investment will support sharing our expertise in healthcare reimbursement and evidence-based policy to integrate maternal mental health care into U.S. maternity care. We appreciate the Fund’s partnership on this critical work.
The Commonwealth Fund – March 2026
The Policy Center received a grant from the Commonwealth Fund to advance two important initiatives focused on improving maternal health systems, including engaging experts to develop recommendations for the postpartum care transition from obstetrics to primary care, and publishing a commentary on obstetric payment reform and its implications for maternal health outcomes. We are grateful for the Commonwealth Fund’s partnership to improve maternal health and mental health care.
Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation – December 2025
The Policy Center received a two-year organizational capacity grant from the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, effective December 2025. This investment increases our capacity to engage with state leaders to adopt maternal mental health best practices and to continue to track, identify, and align national efforts to address maternal mental health. We are grateful to the Blank Foundation for partnering with us to improve maternal mental health.
