The MMH FORUM
Together, we can take small steps and make large leaps to advance maternal mental health so all mothers, babies, and families have the chance to thrive.
The Maternal Mental Health (MMH) FORUM is where cross-sector change agents convene, take in cutting-edge and critical content, and network with colleagues who are also working to close gaps in maternal mental health.
On March 19-20, 2024 over 700 leaders addressing mental health systems change came together for thought-provoking discussions surrounding policy and practice solutions addressing a public health priority: maternal mental health. Topics included the new HEDIS maternal depression screening and follow-up measures, behavioral health integration, trends in state health policy, the National Maternal Mental Health Task Force, the White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research, value-based payment strategies in maternal and mental health, and the latest regarding the use of CHWs, peer support specialists and doulas.
Though the FORUM is open to all change agents, it’s designed for leaders from the following primary audiences who are positioned to lead systems change:
- Payors (Health Insurers, Medicaid Agencies, Employers)
- Policymakers (Legislative and Agencies in state and federal government)
- Providers (Obstetric clinics, hospitals, and health systems)
- Partners (Philanthropy, Nonprofit Organizations, Community-Based Organizations, and Researchers)
