H.B. 2127: (2024) Known as the Perinatal and Postpartum Education Act.  Requires the Department of Health to add to it’s external website a printable resource list of the names, addresses and telephone numbers of professional organizations that provide pregnancy counseling and assistance to parents, including organizations that provide prenatal counseling, postpartum counseling, and assistance with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The department shall also make available a fact sheet that includes common symptoms of these disorders.  The Act also encourages providers and hospitals to provide patients with these resources.

SR108/HR306 (2019): The Pennsylvania legislature adopted a pair of resolutions recognizing the month of May 2019 as Postpartum Depression Awareness Month.
