S.B. 74 (2024) Establishes the Kentucky Maternal Psychiatry Access Program, also known as the Kentucky Lifeline for Moms, aimed at assisting healthcare practitioners in addressing the mental health needs of mothers and 2) developing and providing information on perinatal mental health disorders, and establishing the Kentucky Maternal and Infant Health Collaborative to address maternal mental health, among other things.

S.R. 87 (2024) Recognizing January 23, 2024, as Maternal Mental Health Awareness Day.

S.B.135 (2023): requires the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to make information on postpartum depression and a postpartum assessment tool available on its website. Furthermore, the act requires the Cabinet for Health and Family Services to develop and implement a collaborative program aimed at improving the quality of prevention and treatment of postpartum depression.
