Kyara Nichols, MS

Kyara graduate from George Washington University, with research interests regarding inequities in policies surrounding maternal mental health in disadvantaged communities. Kyara Nichols graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with a B.S. in Chemistry. While at Xavier, she was an undergraduate research student, campus ministry leader, and founder of the Xavier Empowerment Network (XEN) that enabled students to connect with mentors post graduation.  Kyara is also a labor and postpartum doula who is passionate about helping her clients become educated on how to navigate their maternal health journey openly and safely.
