Bennie Damul
Bennie is a Global Health MPH student at Vanderbilt University, with research interests in mental health and how stigma, discrimination, and inequalities affect mental healthcare outcomes in marginalized communities. She is the founder of Mental Health Naija, where she educates about pertinent mental health issues in alignment with her passion for improving mental healthcare access for women, especially in LMICs. Bennie Damul graduated from Xavier University with a BSc in Psychology. While at Xavier, she was a Community Engaged Fellow, a Brueggeman Research Fellow, president of the African Students Association, and was involved in residence life, the interfaith cabinet, and student government.
